The police have completed the police raid operation in the village of Banjské in Zveçan. This was confirmed for KosovaPress by the deputy director of the North Mitrovica Regional Directorate, Veton Elshani.
On Tuesday, the police arrested two more suspects in a hotel, while in the area of the village of Banjské, some tools and an arsenal of weapons were found and seized.
After the arrest of two terrorist attackers who fired at police officers, the arrest of four suspects who were found in illegal possession of radio links suspected of having links to a terrorist group, and the arrest of two suspects on Monday, the number of those arrested so far has reached eight people.
The vehicles confiscated on Tuesday are: a heavy armored vehicle, two other vehicles and an excavator which were filled with large amounts of weapons. The police also seized large quantities of weapons on Sunday.
We recall that in the early hours of Sunday, September 24, a group of terrorists attacked the Kosovo Police, leaving sergeant Afrim Bunjaku dead, while injuring two other policemen. Among the terrorists, 3 of them remain killed.
The authorities in Kosovo have released evidence that implicates the vice president of the Serbian List, Milan Radojčič as the leader of this terrorist group. Radojcic is also sanctioned by the United States of America and Great Britain.
