Veton Surroi: The danger of Serbian terrorist attacks on Kosovo has not passed

Publicist Veton Surroi said in an interview for "Now with Erla Mëhillin" in Euronews Albania that the danger of Serbian terrorist attacks against Kosovo has not passed.

According to him, the danger comes as a result of the mentality that Serbia still does not see Kosovo as equal, but subordinate. Moreover, Surroi underlined the fact that free democratic elections have not been held in this part of the territory of Kosovo.

" Kosovo and Serbia have not been able to agree on the normalization of relations according to the Franco-German agreement, due to Serbia's refusal. The danger has not passed. These actions are not the result of the security forces alone, but are the product of the mindset. The mentality is such that it still sees Kosovo not as equal to Serbia, but sees it as a contested, subjugated territory and this is a very big problem. Let's also not forget that we are dealing with a part of the territory of Kosovo where we have not had free democratic elections ", said Surroi.
