A serious event took place in Kosovo, where an accident between a vehicle and a bicycle ended with the loss of life for a minor.
The Kosovo Police announces that the incident took place in the village of Korishë in Prizren yesterday, while it was the vehicle that collided with the bicycle on which two children were traveling.
The minors were sent to the hospital to receive medical help, but one of them was unable to escape from his injuries, passing away at midnight.
"Korishe-Prizren, 24.08.2024-18:50. A traffic accident occurred involving a vehicle with local license plates with a male Kosovar driver and a bicycle with a child driver who was accompanied by another child as a passenger. As a result of the accident, the two Kosovar male child-victims suffered bodily injuries. One of them was hospitalized in the Orthopedic Department in Prizren, while the other was transferred to the KKUK. On 25.08.2024-01:28 the victim, who was undergoing medical treatment at the KKUK, passed away. By decision of the guardian prosecutor, the suspect was taken into custody, while the dead body was sent to the IML for an autopsy," the police announced.
