
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, has reacted regarding the serious accident that happened yesterday evening where a family from Kosovo fell into the Lepenc river.
He said that there are 30 members of the Kosovo Police at the scene who are doing their best to find and remove the bodies from the river.
"After coordination with the authorities of the Republic of North Macedonia, the first professional units of the Kosovo Police and the Kosovo Security Force arrived last night and started planning and searching in the torrential flow of Lepenci. There are currently 30 members of the Kosovo Police, the Kosovo Security Force and professional rescue volunteers who, in coordination and cooperation with the professional teams of North Macedonia, are doing their best to locate and extract people from the river. , writes Sveçla on Facebook.
The Minister also expressed that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in these difficult moments stand by the families of those affected by this accident and despite all the challenges, they have raised all the capacities to get results as quickly as possible.
