The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said today that they are doing everything to free the policemen kidnapped by the Serbian forces. Kurti invited the international factor to condemn Serbia's aggression.

He said that next week it is expected that Ambassador Jetish Jashari, who is the head of the liaison office in Belgrade, will visit the kidnapped policemen.

Asked if he will attend the meeting called by the EU's high representative for foreign policy, Josep Borrell for the meeting in Brussels, Kurti refused to answer.

On Wednesday (June 14), three border officials were kidnapped by Serbian forces during a patrol on the border line in the north of Kosovo. The police have announced that the police unit has been on duty deep within the territory of Kosovo to prevent the use of illegal roads. The three policemen kidnapped by Serbian forces on Friday (June 16) have been remanded in custody.

Meanwhile, the United States of America, Great Britain, and Germany have called for the immediate release of three Kosovo police officers, arrested in the north by Serbian forces.
