Eight policemen were injured in an armored vehicle accident in the village of Grabovc near Zveçan in the north of Kosovo on Friday evening, the Kosovo Police announced.
We can confirm that shortly after 20:00, it was reported that in the north of the country, specifically in the village of Grabovc, an official armored car in which there were eight operators, allegedly slipped and went off the road.
Competent police units immediately arrived at the scene to deal with the case, and the medical teams with ambulances were also notified. As a result of the accident, the police officers suffered injuries, and the same medical teams were sent to the hospital center for further medical treatment ", said Elshani.
Laura Nushi, director of Mitrovica Hospital, announced that the injured police officers are out of danger.
" The care teams have been mobilized and the emergency headquarters has been activated and they have reacted in an immediate action. After the examinations, we can say that the condition of all police officers is stable and out of danger. For additional examinations, three of them were sent to KKUK and five others were released to go home ", she said.
According to the announcement, the Police armored car is suspected to have skidded and gone off the road.
