Albin Kurti makes a big promise: €200 million for Kosovo's stadiums

The government of Kosovo has almost 200 million euros to invest in the regulation of football infrastructure.

Through a post on the official website, Prime Minister Albin Kurti emphasizes that the Dardanian government is determined to fix the stadiums.

200 million euros for radical transformation of football infrastructure.

We are determined, the stadiums are being built. Football has never been treated with this volume, budget and seriousness.

We have started the complete reconstruction of the "Fadil Vokrri" stadium field in Prishtina. The works continue in the Olympic stadium "Adem Jashari" in Mitrovica. For the completion of the works in the stadium of the city of Gjakova, we have pledged nine million euros. The projects for the renovation of the stadium in Peja and the construction of the new stadium in Ferizaj are being drawn up.

The procurement procedures for the implementation of the works are being developed for the Gjilan stadium, while very soon we will start the procedures for the last phase of the works at the "Pëparim Thaçi" stadium in Prizren. The works are also continuing in the Malisheva and Shtime stadiums, as well as in the fields auxiliary in Bërnica, Gjilan, Raushiq, Studençan, Komoran and Kllokot.

The procedures for drafting the projects for the new stadiums of Suhareka and Rahovec have been announced.

Part of our five-year plan is the renovation of the stadiums in Vushtrri, Kamenica, Mitrovica (Riza Lushta), Podujevë and Drenas.

The total value of our investments in football infrastructure is close to 200 million euros.

During this year, we start the procedures for the national stadium of Kosovo.

Our five-year plan for football infrastructure is an agreement between the government, the municipalities and the Football Federation.

The same has been presented to FIFA and UEFA and is supported by them," writes Kurti.
