The US ambassador meets the American KFOR, a message to Serbia that security will be guaranteed throughout the territory

The Ambassador of the United States in Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, has met the American personnel deployed in the Eastern Regional Command of the KFOR Mission, at Camp Notting Hill.

He was accompanied by KFOR Regional Commander-East, Jason Baker, who briefed him on the US contribution to KFOR's daily activities in support of sustainable security throughout Kosovo.

The announcement states that KFOR continues to implement its UN mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 – to ensure a safe environment for all people living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at any time and impartially.
