Today, Serbs have protested in the north of Mitrovica, opposing the arrest of Milun Milenkovic, known as Lune, who is suspected of being one of the leaders of the criminal gang in the north called "Civil Defense".
It is known that some of the protesters have provoked the Kosovo Police by calling them "fascists". While the Kosovo police did not make any kind of reaction.
The Serbian protesters held Serbian flags in their hands, with the inscription "Kosovo is Serbia".
There were many police officers, while the protest was peaceful and without any incident.
We remind you that, since May 26, the Serbs in the north have been protesting against the placement of new, Albanian mayors of the municipalities in the municipal facilities in the north.
The protests were initially violent, while on May 29 there were clashes. 30 KFOR soldiers, some Kosovo police and journalists were attacked. Then the situation calmed down, but today the Serbs rose again in protest to demand the release of Milun Milenkovic.
