The MP of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Armend Muja, has spoken about the purchase of "Javelin" anti-tanks. He said that Kosovo has bought one anti-tank "Javelin" for each tank of Serbia.
Muja said that the credit for the purchase of weapons belongs to the Kurti Government and not to the former rulers.
"This merit, both for drones and for anti-tanks, belongs to the government because they had some limitations. A "Javelin" costs about 178,000 dollars and 200 "Javelina", as many tanks as Serbia has, cost somewhere between 70-80 million dollars. I believe that yes, Serbia has somewhere around 240 Qaq tanks," he said
He said that Kosovo does not want a conflict in the Western Balkans, but according to him the bioterritorial order is in chaos and in such cases preparations must be made.
"I believe that Serbia is a danger for us, they have also shown it in the case of Banjska. Now they buy Russian anti-reactors, Chinese drones. Their expenses in the army exceed the expenses of the time of Milosevic, who was the highest," said Muja.
According to him, Serbia is arming itself a lot and the political class must bear responsibility.
He said that the arming of Kosovo serves for peace.
Muja said that the "Javelin" has proven to be very efficient in Ukraine and is primarily responsible for the destruction of Russian tanks.
"Kosovo has adopted an asymmetric approach in its doctrine, which means that for the invasion of tanks and other military means that threaten Kosovo, the 'Javelin' is adopted, but I assume there may be other systems as well. I know that there has been a focus on security with a high priority," said Muja.
