The British MP, Alicia Kearns, has reacted after the murder of the police officer in the north of Kosovo, as well as the attack that is still going on in Leposavic.
Through a reaction on the "X" platform, Kearns writes that she is deeply concerned about another orchestrated attack on law enforcement in Kosovo.
"Deeply disturbing to see yet another orchestrated attack on law enforcement in Kosovo. My heart goes out to the families of the police sergeant killed and those injured serving the communities of Kosovo. The Kosovo Police must be able to defend the rule of the law without the threat of violence," Kearns writes.
The British MP further writes that the situation still continues to be tense as the shooting continues in the Banjska Monastery.
"Initial images show that the gunmen are a well-funded and well-equipped army, including armored vehicles. Those responsible must face justice. Let's hope no one else gets hurt," said the British MP.
