The murder that shocked Pristina on the evening of November 29, where the wife of the adviser of the former president of Kosovo Behgjet Pacolli was killed, has raised great dilemmas.
Liridona Murseli, who was shot to death on Wednesday evening in Pristina, is the wife of Naim Murseli, the adviser of the former president of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli.
Lawyer Arbër Jashari was in an interview for "Euronews Albania" and spoke about this very issue.
"Robberies mainly have the motive to take the thing and where there is no main purpose of killing, they only kill when they feel threatened. When their life or their identity is at risk, it happens that they may be known persons who have information about your property. If they are discovered, they know that they will be judged," said the lawyer.
Asked why this could be planned, the lawyer replied:
"Cases when private cars are robbed are very rare, vans or vehicles are usually robbed. This fact has made me think that it is not planned. Because even if we call it robbery that ended in murder, or murder, the effect is the same. There are many doubts that legislative bodies should look to work in all directions. We may be dealing with certain persons who have been escorted for reasons unknown to us, have been detained, and the manner in which the murder was carried out is of little importance. They had about 3,000 euros with them, because according to their father-in-law they were going to buy a new house. This amount is admirable from robbers" , said the lawyer.
He added that the statements of Naim Murseli, the husband of the late Liridona Murseli, were somewhat suspicious. He stated that the woman was killed by the robbers, while he managed to save himself and the children.
"This is a question mark, the whole of Kosovo has this dilemma. How is it possible that he managed to get the children away, but failed to save the woman. I believe that the children's statements will help a lot in clarifying this issue" , said the lawyer.
