Serbia's chief negotiator in the dialogue with Kosovo, Petar Petkovic, said that Kosovo has rejected the invitation for a dialogue between the main negotiators at a technical level, which, according to him, should have been held tomorrow in Brussels.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic also said that a new round of dialogue should have been held in Brussels on November 6 or 7, but that the Kosovar side did not accept.
Petkovic said that on October 30, EU envoy Miroslav Lajcak sent an email to Pristina and Belgrade about a new round of dialogue that was supposed to take place tomorrow, November 7.
" Belgrade immediately responded to that email invitation on November 2 and also stated that our delegation will come to Brussels for talks. However, Pristina and its negotiator Besnik Bislimi simply rejected that invitation, so on November 3 we were informed by the EU that tomorrow's meeting in Brussels was simply cancelled ," Petkovic told Tanjug.
