The Kosovo Police continued the operation to find the terrorist group during the night and escorted 20 monks of the Banjska monastery to the police headquarters.

According to journalist Julian Kasapi, the 20 monks are suspected of being collaborators of the terrorist group.

"The Kosovo police continued their operation to find the terrorist group yesterday evening. 20 of them left the Banjska monastery. 20 prisoners were escorted to the Kosovo Police Directorate for investigation and taking fingerprints of possible accomplices and to see if they made it possible to hide these weapons," Kasapi reported.

According to him, the operation will continue today.

The entire operation was carried out by Kosovo's special forces. KFOR forces declared that the control of the territory belongs to the Kosovo Police.

Two days ago at around 3:00 in the morning, a Kosovo police officer lost his life and two others were injured in the north of Mitrovica. A paramilitary group armed and dressed in army uniforms but without the corresponding logo, shot in the direction of a Kosovo police vehicle.
The event evoked reactions in Kosovo and abroad that condemn the attack, while Kosovo has declared today a day of mourning in honor of the officer who fell in the line of duty Afrim Bunjaku.
