The former envoy of the United States of America for the Western Balkans, Richard Grenell, has accused Germany of "coming out on the opposite side of history" by offering support to the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

"Albin Kurti has rejected every idea that the West has pushed. Unfortunately, the Government of Germany has failed to embrace the solutions that Thaçi and Vuçiqi had agreed to push forward. Germans are on the wrong side of history: embracing fascist Kurt. Every country in the world has condemned Kurt for inciting violence - except Germany. Republicans and Democrats rarely agree... but they agree that Kurt is the problem," Grenelli tweeted Tuesday morning.
