President Donald Trump's Special Envoy for Special Missions, Richard Grenell, has lashed out at European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen after her visit to Kosovo.
Through a post on the social network "X", Grenell responded to Von der Leyen, who had published photos from the meeting with Osmani and Kurti, while emphasizing that Kosovo must build strong institutions.

He stated that Von der Leyen did not react to the Hague Tribunal holding Hashim Thaçi in custody for five years, only that the latter was going to meet Donald Trump to create a peace agreement that included the dissolution of Judge Jack Smith's work.

It is shameful how the media has ignored this political prosecution ,” Grenell writes in X.
