After the close of voting, the first ballot boxes for the local elections in Kosovo have begun to be counted in the municipality of North Mitrovica.
Contrary to expectations, with 1.44% of votes counted, a strong competition between the Serbian List and the Self-Determination Movement is evident.
Serb candidate Milan Radojevic currently leads with 40.16% of the vote, but is followed by Erden Atić with 33.86%.
Meanwhile, 15.75% of the votes were received by the Democratic Party candidate, Flutura Hamza Azemi.
