Someone from the Banjska Monastery betrayed Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, a senior source from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Serbia told "The Geopost" today.
"Yesterday, someone betrayed President Vucic, and the Serbian intelligence services will investigate this," the source said.
According to him, Vucic was betrayed in connection with the resistance in Banjska.
"At least 6 Serbs were killed. The action should not have ended like this, with this balance. This greatly harms Vučić and the institutions of Serbia, as well as the Kosovo Serbs, and Serbia's position in the dialogue" , said the source from the Serbian security structures.
Yesterday, on September 24, in the village of Banjska, in the early hours of the morning, armed Serbs killed an officer of the Kosovo police, Afrim Bunjaku. Afterwards, the special units of the Kosovo Police neutralized the terrorists, who took refuge in the Orthodox Monastery in the village.
During the action, at least 3 Serbs were killed, who "The Geopost" reports are Kosovo Serbs, while 2 others were captured alive.
In the evening, the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in a press conference said that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurtin, is the only one to blame for the attack in the North.
