The daughter of Police Officer Afrim Bunjaku, gave a speech for her father, during the memorial meeting for the policeman who was killed in the north of Kosovo.
At the beginning of her speech, the girl could not hold back tears, creating pauses from time to time. She said that no one will replace her father, and added that she is very proud of her father.
"How difficult it is for me to write about you, my father. I never believed that your departure left a wound in our hearts. I don't know how I will live without you, I entered the house and did not see you. I did not know your place no one can replace you, you only taught us to never live without you. We are all proud of you, we will follow your path, with longing and pain. You sacrificed your life for freedom! We in Kosovo are proud of you. I promise you that we will I will follow your path. I will remember with longing and pain. My father's hero," said Bunjak's daughter.
Today, during a commemorative meeting held in Pristina, the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, awarded the order "Hero of Kosovo" to police officer Afrim Bunjaku, who was killed on September 24 by Serbian terrorists in the north of the country.
The order in honor of the murdered policeman was given to the family members who were present at the ceremony.
In her speech, the president declared that the order of the Hero of Kosovo is given to Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku for his heroic fall in defense of the country.
"On behalf of the citizens, I award the order "Hero of Kosovo" to sergeant Afrim Bunjaku. He has fallen heroically in defense of the country", declared the president.
