The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has commented on the idea presented by the Prime Minister, Edi Rama, for holding an international conference for Kosovo and Serbia and implementing the Franco-German plan.
He expressed his skepticism about holding such a conference. Kurti said that instead, it will simply be necessary to implement the basic agreement as a whole.
" We have had international conferences in the past and now we have a basic agreement, from February 27 of this year, in Brussels and also from March 18 in Ohrid with the implementation annex. All that needs to be done is to unconditionally implement that basic agreement in its entirety and in a fair and balanced way. This must be done and we commit to this in Brussels in the meetings we have" , Kurti told reporters yesterday during the day in Prizren.
Prime Minister Edi Rama insisted that the two godfathers, as he calls Macron and Scholz, shut Vučić and Kurti in a conference until they implement the Franco-German plan. Rama called on the two leaders to leave behind the 'Tomy-Jerry' game of politics by which he meant that it is a game for personal ego and not for the national one.
" It is imperative that Macon and Scholz intervene and definitely postpone the implementation until the end of the basic agreement, which remained unsigned but which the parties say they have agreed upon... The two leaders together with anyone else around them should be dealt with and to be locked inside in a conference under the care and pressure of the godfathers of the plan that has been agreed upon at the base. In a normalization conference without the right of exit until the conversation ends," said Rama.
