The Director of the Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkovic, commenting on the tense situation in the North, stated that Prishtina has no right under any agreement to form the Kosovo Army nor to arm members of the Kosovo Security Forces. According to him, the only forces that can operate in Kosovo are those of KFOR.
"The only valid armed military formation in the territory of Kosovo is the KFOR international mission and it must remain so, whether Kurti likes it or not ," said Petkovic, writes Euronews Serbia.
According to him, the threat to peace and security in these areas and in the entire Western Balkan region is Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
