The former President and deputy of the Assembly of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli has reacted after the new details from the gruesome murder of the wife of his former advisor, Liridona Murseli.
Her husband, Naim Murseli, along with the suspect for her murder, have been arrested by the Kosovo Police after it was learned that Murseli paid 30,000 euros for an acquaintance to kill his wife, then disguising the incident as a robbery.
Pacolli writes that he is horrified and shocked by the cruel murder of Liridona, which he emphasizes that he also knew personally.
While congratulating the Police for their professional work in solving the case, he says that "whoever is behind this terrible and macabre act must be brought to justice and receive the maximum punishment.
"Today, the children and the family buried Liridona, a daughter and young mother who was cruelly killed. I am still horrified and shocked by the murder of Liridona, whom I knew personally. Today and every day, my prayers and thoughts are with the children and family of Liridona.
I congratulate the Kosovo police for the great and professional work they are doing to uncover the case. Whoever is behind this terrible and macabre act (an act unseen in our tradition), must be brought to justice and receive the maximum punishment for this.
Today, two children are without their mother, whose life was taken in her youth.
