Guxo List MP Donika Gërvalla has criticized the latest efforts to constitute the Assembly, calling it a meaningless repetition of a meaningless blockade.
She has asked the opposition parties of the previous legislature to abandon their "destructive strategy" and take responsibility for the vote given to them by the citizens.
Gërvalla stated that "violation of the Constitutional Court's decision every 48 hours is unacceptable," while emphasizing the importance of uniting for state interests, not for power.
She said that the constitution of the Assembly is the first step towards this union, adding that "the secret ballot is an essential tool of democracy."
According to Gërvalla, the opposition is not seeking new elections and is not challenging Albin Kurti to form the government. She stated that the LDK is only interested in governing through a coalition with the PDK, while denying the election results by blocking the process in the Assembly.
"If LDK wants to lead the Government, it must win the elections. There is no other choice. LVV has received 42% of the votes and this is a fact that cannot be denied. We believe that we have the governing majority ," she concluded.
