The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, has stated that the return to the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia is essential.

Through a post on the 'X' platform, Michel added that the European Commission will discuss the topic further.

" Together with the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell and EU colleagues, I met with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and then with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic. The extension and return to the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina is essential" , wrote Michel on the X social network.

Meanwhile, according to reports coming from Brussels, it is said that in the EU there is great optimism for reaching an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
