LDK has convened its Assembly, following the disastrous result in the last parliamentary elections, while Lumir Abdixhiku has submitted his resignation to the delegates.
But he will enter the race for the leadership of this party, because as he stated, it was up to the members of the LDK and no one else to determine who would lead this party.
But it seems that Abdixhiku's speech during the extraordinary Assembly was not liked by all candidates.
After finishing his speech, Abdixhiku was applauded by most of the delegates, but some of the figures appeared to have kept a distance from the resigned leader.
Avdullah Hoti, Hykmete Bajrami and Arben Gashi have been identified as figures who no longer support Abdixhiku, and have not even hesitated to not react at all to his speech, as the hall was filled with ovations.
This stance may have influenced Abdixhiku, in the last part of his speech, to criticize those who have demanded his irrevocable resignation.
