The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani, has responded with the Serbian Minister, Ivica Dacic, during the Diplomatic Forum of Antalya, where they participated in the panel entitled "Challenges and opportunities in the Balkans".
Osmani emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine and thus maintaining strategic clarity in the Western Balkans.
"Let me repeat, briefly. I don't know why Minister Dacic feels he has to respond to my claims that Russia has imperialist ambitions and Ukraine is just the beginning. It is essential that we continue to support Ukraine to win this just war, but also to maintain our strategic clarity in the Balkans, especially in North Macedonia as a multi-ethnic country, now that we have the elections. So both of these two moments are essential for maintaining strategic clarity in the Western Balkans: supporting Ukraine to win this just war. Because, as I said, Ukraine is only the first stop and the Western Balkans will be the next stop. Then, regarding territorial integrity, it is not mine to comment, but I think it is important to look at the relevant decisions of the international court of justice, regarding territorial integrity", said Osmani.
