
The process of counting votes for the mayor of Vushtrri is continuing with intensity, while according to the latest data from the Central Election Commission (CEC), as of 20:49, 37 out of 97 polling stations have been processed, or 38.14% of the total.
Initial results show that the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) candidate, Ferit Idrizi, is ahead with 44.94%, which translates into 4,634 votes.
Following him is the candidate of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Sylejman Meholli, with 29.81% (3,074 votes), while in third place is the candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Xhafer Tahiri, with 21.20% (2,186 votes).
The other candidates have received these results:
Xhevahire Izmaku (NISMA Social Democrats) – 2.72% (280 votes)
Shaban Miftari – 0.70% (72 votes)
Mensut Ademi (AAK) – 0.64% (66 votes)
The counting process in Vushtrri is continuing, while the results are expected to be updated by the CEC in the coming hours.
