Member of the leadership of the Vetëvendosje Movement Elvis Hoxha has spoken about the clash and rhetoric used between Albin Kurti and Edi Rama in their debate on social networks.
He stated that the real difference between Rama and Kurti is that the latter is a patriot, while the Albanian prime minister is harming Kosovo with his statements.
"He is telling the truth, Kurti is more passionate than he should be, he is telling the truth of the difference between them. Rama's phrases have come progressively. We have seen phrases that say patriotism is excessive. When this man said no man's land and then denied having said it, he really harmed Kosovo. I don't want to go into the prototype of his thinking, but as prime minister of Albania, you will take patriotism in the form of Kosovo, the same as you can do with Chameria. He has killed us with equalizations.
"What kind of discourse do we have? The discourse has not been agreed upon, what language should we have. Kosovo has its own faults but we are always talking about Kosovo, we do not talk about Albania. You have never heard Kurti talk about the mistake of the Albanian government, for example, about integration. We are in time for improvements but we do not have collective faith in the future," he told "News 24".
