
The Ministry of Internal Affairs in North Macedonia has reacted to the information about a threat to the life of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, during his stay in Skopje.
The spokesman of the ministry, Toni Angellovski, said that there was no attempt to assassinate Albin Kurti and that the security was maximum according to the protocols and rules.
"We inform you that during the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, to Skopje, there was no attempt to assassinate him. As for security during Prime Minister Kurti's visit, it is organized according to predetermined rules and security assessments," said Angellovski.
Prime Minister Kurti arrived in Skopje on Friday evening, while all security measures were taken beforehand, in coordination with the security institutions of North Macedonia.
As RTK reports, the assessments of the threat to Kurt's life have been serious, considering that they have come from several sources of information.
