Plans to eliminate the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti are reported to have taken place on Friday in Skopje.
The spokesperson of the Government of Kosovo, Përparim Kryeziu stated that the threats are related to Belgrade.
" Prime Minister Kurti stayed last night in Skopje after returning from the United States of America. Last night there was first a dinner with representatives of the sister parties of the Party of European Socialists (PSE). Then in the morning he was present at the regional meeting with the leaders of the sister parties of the Party of European Socialists, organized by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES). We are informed that there are many threats from individuals and structures related to official Belgrade ," he said.
Kryeziu added that the nervousness in Belgrade after the meeting of the UN Security Council has increased threats and aggressiveness towards the Prime Minister.
" Many law enforcement forces have been seen in Skopje. The Prime Minister did not feel threatened. Everything went well during his stay in North Macedonia. He is already in Kosovo and is continuing his agenda ", he asserted.
