Today, the Kosovo police raided the "Rajska Banja" hotel in Banjské, Zveçan, while seizing an arsenal of weapons.
It is suspected that the weapons have been there since the case of the Serbian attack in this village on the Kosovo Police a year ago.
"Today, during the day, we carried out an additional check at the Rajska Banja Hotel and found 2 bulletproof vests, AK-47, 8 magazines with cartridges and some other military equipment. It is believed that these material evidences have been there since the case of Banjska" , said the deputy director of the Police for the northern region, Veton Elshani.
It is not the first time that the Kosovo Police have found weapons in Banjska since the September 2023 attack.
The "Rajska Banja" complex was taken over by the state at the end of last year. It was functional until it was taken over by the Kosovo Privatization Agency. The opening of the hotel in Banjska was done by Marko Djuric, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia.
Also, it is reported that the former prime minister of Serbia, Ana Bernabic, as well as officials of the Serbian List, stayed in this hotel.
KPA announced that the facility was renovated without permission and that it is the property of the social enterprise "Trepça Standard".
We recall that on September 24 of last year, dozens of armed Serbs attacked the Kosovo Police in Banjska, killing the policeman Afrim Bunjaku. In the subsequent police action, three Serbian attackers were also killed. The responsibility for the terrorist attack was taken by the former vice-president of the Serbian List, Millan Radoicic, who is believed to be in Serbia.
