Kosovo police have arrested a Serb suspected of attacking KFOR members in Zveçan.

As a result of the work and intensive investigations carried out by the Kosovo Police, today in the morning the Serbian male suspect NO, residing in North Mitrovica, known by the nicknames "Nemac" and "Rusi", was arrested as a suspect for involvement in case of attack and endangerment of persons under international protection - KFOR.

"His arrest and escort to the police station was carried out after obtaining evidence that he was involved in the attack on KFOR on May 29, 2023, where as a result of the attacks and the violence displayed, dozens of KFOR members suffered bodily injury. All further actions will be taken in cooperation and coordination with the justice bodies", says the announcement of the Kosovo Police.

The Kosovo Police says that it will continue its commitment and dedication to maintaining order and public safety, to the rule of law and bringing suspected persons who violate order and law to justice.
