Reduction of the police in the North, Lajçak: An important step to reduce tensions!

The envoy of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, reacted after the Kosovo Police, EULEX and KFOR made a joint assessment of security in the North.

The number of police officers around the northern municipalities has started to be reduced, according to the Brastislava agreement reached between Kosovo and the EU. Regarding the evaluation of the Police, Lajçak says that it is an important step towards complete de-escalation.

" I welcome today's first joint security assessment between Kosovo Police, EULEXKosovo and NATO_KFOR as agreed in Bratislava. This is an important step towards the complete de-escalation of tensions in the north of Kosovo ", wrote Lajçak on Twitter.
