The US is not expected to begin the planned strategic dialogue with Kosovo, which it suspended in September of this year due to the uncoordinated actions of the Kurti Government.
In a statement from the US Embassy in Pristina, it is said that the US is demanding concrete steps to reduce tensions from caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti. It is also said that immediate commitment is required to advance the common goal of strengthening peace and stability as a basis for mutual economic prosperity.
" As we have made clear to the interim government, the door is open to improving relations and resuming cooperation. However, this requires concrete steps from Caretaker Prime Minister Kurti to reduce tensions and advance our shared goal of strengthening peace and stability as a basis for mutual economic prosperity. We will continue to assess the actions of the interim government. We have nothing further to announce at this point ," the US Embassy's response reads.
