The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, before the meeting with the foreign ministers of the European Union and the Western Balkans, has emphasized that there is an obstacle in the negotiations between Serbia and Kosovo.
But he says that Ukraine will bring dynamics to the integrations.
"The European Commission has proposed the opening of a negotiation process with Ukraine. This will cause an avalanche of other countries wanting to join. There is an obstacle in the negotiations between Serbia and Kosovo, but the dynamics that Ukraine will initiate will affect all the candidate countries that are currently waiting for their turn in the negotiation process," said Borrell .
He also said that in the meeting with foreign ministers, he will discuss the recently approved report on the enlargement of the European Commission. Borrell also emphasized that the Western Balkans region is very important for the European Union.
