Kosovo and Serbia are conditional on the normalization of relations if they want to continue their European path.
In the country, it is said that dialogue is a permanent condition for EU integration processes.
"For Kosovo, in addition to the procedural aspect, there are also political conditions and criteria that must be implemented, whether they are compromises or certain actions, but the dialogue aspect is closely related to advancement", said Visar Xani, an expert on political issues.
He adds that the warning of the cessation of financial aid for Kosovo is currently noticeable.
"In terms of the projects, this is already felt, but it is not much in the image to understand beyond those who are involved, but if there is non-implementation, they become more formalized", said Xani.
While the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, on October 26 has agreed to sign the Agreement for the normalization of relations, its annex and the draft of the Association of Municipalities with a Serbian majority, these conditions are expected to be applied to Serbia.
"The fact that the European Union does not impose any sanctions, at least not now, for me is sufficiently indicative to believe that they will be maintained for a subsequent phase when it is expected that another greater pressure will be placed on Serbia", said Dorajet Imeri , also familiar with political issues.
The European Commission has announced that Kosovo and Serbia will not benefit from the economic plan if they do not normalize relations.
