The meeting with the heads of QUIN, Vucic 'shut up' his mouth: I will

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said that he will not comment anything after the meeting with the representatives of the QUNT countries.

"I made the decision not to say a word about the meeting with the representatives of the QUNIT countries and with the head of the EU delegation in Serbia. I think it's better for everyone," Vucic wrote on Instagram.

On Wednesday morning, June 14, the President of Serbia met with the representatives of the USA, Great Britain, France, Italy and Germany, as well as with the head of the EU delegation.

The meeting took place one day after the Kosovo Police arrested Millun Millenkovic-Lunet in the north of Kosovo.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, said that Millenkovic was one of the organizers of the attack on members of KFOR and the Kosovo Police in Zveçan two weeks ago.

Tensions in northern Kosovo increased at the end of May when Kosovo police forced the new Albanian mayors into municipal buildings.

Tensions in the north of Kosovo have increased since May 26, when the Kosovo Police helped the Albanian mayors of Zveçan, Zubin Potok and Leposaviq municipalities to settle in municipal facilities, despite the resistance of local residents.

Tensions culminated on May 29, when local Serbs clashed with soldiers from the NATO mission in Kosovo, KFOR. Dozens of people from both sides were injured in the clashes.

These mayors were elected on April 23, votes that were boycotted by the local Serbian parties and population.

The international community has blamed Kosovo for the situation created in the north.

The European Union has prepared initial measures, such as sanctions against Kosovo due to the disregard of requests for immediate steps by the Government of Kosovo to reduce tensions in the north, Radio Free Europe has learned from diplomatic sources.

According to these measures, the sanctions will include the suspension of invitations for Kosovo's participation in high-level events and bilateral visits by the European Union and member countries. They have said that there will be meetings only when they should be held to focus on addressing the crisis in the north of Kosovo and steps to find a solution./REL
