The member of the European Parliament, Klemen Groshelj, said that Serbia should be put under a little more pressure to reduce tensions in the north of Kosovo.
According to him, the international arena is not maintaining the right balances and their approach is not the perfect one in this delicate situation.
"We saw the last negotiations in Brussels, as well as in North Macedonia that there was an attempt to make a decision and find a solution to this issue. Serbia did not implement what was decided in that negotiation. I would say that pressure should be put on both sides, maybe a little more on Serbia, to be very honest. First, we must have a clear idea of what the European Union and the United States want to achieve from this conflict.
I think they should seek a very clear solution to the open issues, related to both Kosovo and Serbia, we must have a clear idea of what we want in the Western Balkans, and this must be supported by a very clear policy with the future in the Western Balkans. I think this is the package that goes hand in hand and this will bring stability and a long-term solution to the problems in the Western Balkans. Therefore, let me say that Kosovo-Serbia is only one of the problems that must be solved comprehensively in the Western Balkans", stated Groshelj for Euronews Albania.
