An even more dangerous announcement comes through Pristina's lawyer Tom Gashi, who told "Kosovo Online" yesterday that "the working group that functions as part of Albin Kurti's cabinet is working hard on preparing the lawsuit for genocide against Serbia" and that "it will be delivered at the right time to the International Court of Justice in The Hague".
Gashi has also stated that he is working on the collection of evidence and when asked how he comments on the claims of lawyers from Belgrade that Kosovo is not able to file such a lawsuit because it is not a member of the United Nations.
The Serbian media further quotes the lawyer Gashi who says that legally the lawsuit is possible since another state, specifically Albania, can do it on its behalf.
There are some who think that Kosovo, as a new state, has no right to file such a lawsuit for genocide, since it is not a member of the UN, but Albania can help us. If there is political will, and I think this is missing between Kosovo and Albania, - specified Gashi.
He claims that the so-called, from a legal point of view, Kosovo can present that lawsuit only once it is accepted in the Council of Europe.
According to his words, the lawsuit for genocide against Serbia will be submitted to the International Court of The Hague "because it is the same court that in 2010 made a decision that Kosovo did not violate international law and that it had the right to declare independence. ".
The representatives of the Serbs warn that the Pristina regime, since Kurti came to power, has carried out violent actions in the north of the province but also in the Serbian areas south of the Ibri, seizing Serbian properties and building illegal bases and checkpoints, arresting Serbs. for alleged war crimes, but also with the aim of abolishing the existence of Serbian institutions, they carry out ethnic cleansing.
If to all the violent actions of the Prishtina authorities is added the initial destruction and desecration of Serbian Orthodox temples and the seizure of the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as the expulsion of more than 250,000 Serbs and non-Albanians from the area of Kosovo since 1999, it is clear who is committing genocide against a people, writes the revolted Serbian media about the preparation of the lawsuit against them for genocide./ Pamphlet
