Today, in the village of Grabanicë, Klina, the lifeless body of a woman was found, who was reported missing by her family last evening.
The Police Spokesperson for the Peja region confirmed that the body was found at around 1:15 PM in the Bardhë River, near the village bridge.
" Last night at around 7:00 PM, family members reported that the victim had left the house and was not found. The case was initiated as a 'missing person'. Today, during the search, the body was found about a kilometer from the village bridge ," the spokesman said.
According to media in Kosovo, the woman was pregnant.
The doctor confirmed the death at the scene, while police investigators and the prosecutor conducted the first investigative procedures.
The body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy to clarify the circumstances of death.
Police are continuing their investigations to determine the cause of death and to fully clarify the case.
