The financial crimes in the Kosovo Insurance Bureau (BKS) by the former director Sami Mazreku and his friends continue to be protected by the current director Shefik Gerbovci.
This group against which the judicial authorities have several lawsuits and the initiation of investigations by Economic Crimes for the financial spills in the pocket of Mazrek and his friends; like Besarb Blakaj, Sokol Havolli..., have installed in Kosovo the purchase of modern defense.

This is how Sami thought and acted with his friend, who is now being protected by Gerbovci and the head of the CBK, governor Ahmet Ismaili, is also silent under the justification of taking some cosmetic measures against them, whose mission is to soften the investigations against this group.
In October 2020, when the leaders of the Sami Mazreku Group and Besarb Blakaj started implementing the plan with the help of the heads of the CBK (former governor Fehmi Mehmeti), they fired 74 experienced workers and instead hired 80 other young people.
The taking of insurance money from immigrants and their falsification by BKS officials was carried out under the pressure of the dismissal of the workers. Director Sami Mazreku fired 74 workers on the grounds of lack of budget, but a few months later, as the facts are, he hired a larger number of workers.
Mazrek knew that the old workers would not allow financial abuse to happen.
The young employed workers are the children of high-ranking police officials, prosecutors and judges because they thought that they would not be caught by the radar of justice.

'Pamphlet' is the first media that has researched and published the financial crimes of the mafia in the field of insurance in Kosovo. As a result of these writings, Mazrek was forced to resign.
According to Pamphlet's sources, Sami Mazreku was interrogated by Economic Crimes and the case was passed to the Prosecutor's Office.
Meanwhile, 'Pamphlet' has also contacted some of the dismissed workers who have filed lawsuits against this mafia group in the courts.
One of these employees, who filed a lawsuit for dismissal, told Pamphlet that the new employees were hired without a public competition and were mostly hired quietly.
"There are 126 workers employed at the border points and over 60 employed in the center of the Security Bureau of Kosovo, or over 180 workers. Before the current director fired 70 workers, whose contracts were not renewed, 162 people were employed at BKS", says one of the former directors of BKS, who preferred not to comment on this process officially.
There was no competition for the husband of Arta Hajrizi, former president of the Constitutional Court, under whose mandate the Law on the Red Cross was declared unconstitutional, which required insurance companies to allocate one percent of the insurance value of each vehicle to the fund of this organization.
Also, there was no competition for the brother of the judge of Appeal, Frosina Sylejman, the son of the judge of Appeal Zyhdi Haziri, the son of former judge Fejzullah Hasan, etc., etc.
In the name of this modern protection, Mazrek and his friends have been living unhindered by the justice authorities for four years, although there are lawsuits and investigations against him./ Pamphlet
