The 40th session for the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly also failed. The deputies were unable to find consensus to establish a committee for a secret ballot to elect the Speaker of the Assembly.
This is the second hearing to take place following the Constitutional Court's decision, which has been interpreted in different ways by the Vetëvendosje Movement and other parties.
"The session is adjourned, see you on July 3, 2025, at 11:00," said the chairman of the session, Avni Dehari.
Albin Kurti has insisted on secret voting and the candidacy of Albulena Haxhiu. Despite the ultimatum from the Constitutional Court, he has shown no signs of cooperation with other parties to resolve the crisis in Kosovo.
Meanwhile, political parties will hold a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani with the aim of resolving the crisis, but there is still no date for when it will happen.
The Constitutional Court, in its decision taken on June 26, obliges the deputies elected in the February 9 elections to constitute the legislative body within 30 days.
