The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xelal Sveçla, expressed his shock at the murder of the 21-year-old woman in Ferizaj.
Sveçla said that "despite the efforts to increase security for girls and women, cases like the shocking murder are a call for reflection for all of us, as institutions and as a society".
"I congratulate the Kosovo Police for the quick reaction in the arrest of the hand and I will make sure that we undertake everything that belongs to us as the Minister of Internal Affairs in clarifying all the circumstances of the case and the responsibility of each official. Despite the arrest of the doras, it is necessary to bring justice without delay ", Sveçla wrote.
He expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
The victim is Erona Cokli, 21 years old, who was killed by her husband, Valon Aliu, 36 years old. She was killed by gunfire at the Center for Social Work in Ferizaj, on the afternoon of April 12, while her minor brother was injured.
