Three days after the early parliamentary elections were held, the process of counting the votes of candidates for deputies is continuing, clarifying who will be part of the eleventh legislature of the Assembly of Kosovo.
So far, according to data from the Central Election Commission, over half of the votes cast have been counted.
Below are the candidates who have secured the greatest support from voters in each of the four main Albanian political parties, after over 55 percent of the votes have been counted.
Self-Determination Movement:
Albin Kurti: 130,966 votes
Glauk Konjufca: 103,002 votes
Albulena Haxhiu: 59,620 votes
Hekuran Murati: 51,771 votes
Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz: 48,090 votes
Democratic Party of Kosovo
Bedri Hamza: 64,157 votes
Përparim Gruda: 40,030 votes
Arian Tahiri: 34,916 votes
Uran Ismaili: 31,554 votes
Vlora Çitaku: 21,765 votes
Democratic League of Kosovo:
Vjosa Osmani Sadriu: 42,533 votes
Lumir Abdixhiku: 38,510 votes
Doarsa Kica Xhelili: 30,035 votes
Hykmete Bajrami: 23,780 votes
Avdullah Hoti: 21,761 votes
Alliance for the Future of Kosovo:
Ardian Gjini: 21,848 votes
Ramush Haradinaj: 19,598 votes
Daut Haradinaj: 14,949 votes
Besnik Tahiri: 13,065 votes
Bekë Berisha: 10,633 votes
According to preliminary CEC results, the Vetevendosje Movement (LVV) of the incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, came first in the June 7 elections with 42.91 percent of the vote.
Following it are the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 21.14 percent, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with 17.60 percent, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) with 7.16 percent and the Serbian List with 6.17 percent.
According to preliminary data, LVV will have 48 seats in the Assembly, followed by PDK with 24, LDK with 20, and AAK with 8.
The CEC must also count conditional votes, votes from people with special needs, as well as those cast by mail and votes from the diaspora who voted at Kosovo's diplomatic missions.
This institution plans to announce the final election results on June 26 and certify them on July 6, but these deadlines are only estimates, as they will also depend on the complaints that the parties may file regarding the process./REL
