Brazilian police announced they had foiled a bomb attack planned for Lady Gaga's concert on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday.
As reported by the BBC, the Rio de Janeiro State Police, in coordination with the Ministry of Justice, said the suspects had recruited participants to carry out attacks using improvised explosive devices and the plan was aimed at gaining fame on social media.
The person responsible for the plan was arrested, as well as a teenager, according to a police statement to X.
Officials said a crowd of more than two million people gathered for the concert, which was free to attend.

This is the trend because according to the city council of Río de Janeiro, Lady Gaga broke the record for the solo presentation with the most attendance in all history, with 2.1 million people.
