In an exclusive statement to Page Six, the rapper called the lawsuit filed once again by attorney Tony Buzbee a "blackmail attempt."
“What [Buzbee] calculated was that the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to make a deal,” Jay-Z said.
However, the rapper stated that the accusations had the opposite effect.

Jay-Z emphasized that the charges are so serious that the victim should have filed a criminal complaint, not a civil one.
"Anyone who commits such a crime against a minor should be locked up, don't you think?" - declared the artist.
"My wife and I will have to talk to our children, one of whom is at an age where friends will probably see the press and ask questions about the nature of these allegations," he said, referring to his daughter. , Blue Ivy.

Jay Z also reiterated his support for real victims of abuse and criticized attorney Buzbee for trying to exploit the situation for profit.
"Only your network of conspiracy theorists and fake physics will believe the idiotic claims you've made against me," said Jay-Z, who pointed out that, were it not for the severity of the allegations, the lawsuits against him would to be "funny".
