Alban Skenderaj's concert in Pristina will be long remembered for an elderly man who, in public, sang along with the singer. When asked by journalists, the gentleman said that 'it was a dedication to his late wife'.
Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti hosted the singer-songwriter in a special meeting.
In a post on his Instagram profile, which is making the rounds on the network, the Prime Minister revealed that it was not just a protocol handshake, but the "first long conversation" between the two. In fact, it was not just about music that was discussed.
Kurti says that he and Albani talked about essential topics such as energy, freedom, progress and "the curiosity that Albanian youth enjoys today."
The relationship between our two countries also received special attention in his reaction. “Kosovo and Albania have only inseparable development ahead, which is also led by the art and culture of our many artists,” Kurti writes, placing the art of Skenderaj as a bridge between Albanians.
The Prime Minister also focused on Albani's marathon performance at the "1 Tetori" hall. He emphasized the impressive fact that the artist has performed for four nights in a row, with concerts that have lasted over two hours, thrilling thousands of fans.
Finally, Kurti closed the reaction with a heartfelt congratulation: "Congratulations to Albani for his extraordinary concerts. I wish him many more decades of successful career."
It seems that Albani has not only won the hearts of the public, but also the utmost respect of the head of government.
