Famous Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz has spoken openly about the difficult times in his life, revealing that he suffered from anxiety and depression after live performances. His confession was made during an interview on the show Lo de Évole on La Sexta.
Sanz revealed that he often experienced severe anxiety episodes immediately after concerts. According to him, the feeling was so severe that he preferred to remain isolated in the dressing room until the situation calmed down.
He emphasized that today this period belongs to the past and that he is currently in a more calm and stabilized phase of his personal and professional life.
During the interview, the singer also spoke about his love life, expressing happiness about his relationship with his partner Stephanie Cayo, who even got engaged on live broadcast.
"It's a wonderful feeling to be in love, and I am," he said.
Sanz also touched on his famous collaboration with Shakira on the hit La Tortura , admitting that there had been a slight attraction between them in the past, but that circumstances did not take that relationship further.
He added that today the two maintain a good, friendly relationship and often recall that period with humor, not lacking in praise for Shakira as an extraordinary and very professional artist.
