The famous Parashqevi Simaku, who has been living in the United States of America for years, has suspended her decision to return to Albania, following the numerous statements she has made about her name in recent months.
Although it was rumored that she would arrive in Albania in the fall, the singer has apparently changed her mind, preferring to stay as far away from her birthplace as possible, choosing to continue her life in the US, away from projects for a new career in Albania.
“If for a few clicks you choose to bring someone else down with slander, rest assured: at that moment, you only bring yourself down,” the artist wrote in her reaction. Recalling similar experiences she has had throughout her career, Simaku mentions the years 1985–1988, when, according to her, even though she won awards with dedication and sacrifice, she faced envy and anger from those who could not stand her success.
However, she says that, neither then nor now, she has allowed the attacks to stop her. Confident in her path, Simaku emphasizes that the public knows her well and knows what she represents.
It all started after some strong statements from Shqipja. During an interview, Shqipja expressed shock at what she had heard about her past.
