David Beckham and Victoria Beckham's second son, Romeo Beckham, has once again shown his support for his parents amid the tensions that have involved his older brother, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz.
Romeo made his stance known through an action on social media, by "liking" a video by producer and influencer Ash Cantley, where she discussed the Beckham family's split and openly criticized Nicola Peltz.
The video says: "Victoria and David are trying to save their son. The problem is Nicola Peltz. I think she's the one who made him attack his parents on social media."
Analysts and family followers have suggested for months that the tensions between Brooklyn and his parents are related to his relationship with Victoria, and that his wife has failed to build a harmonious relationship with her mother-in-law. Romeo's actions online show that he also sees the rift in this way and supports his parents.
Romeo has made clear statements before. After Brooklyn's social media outburst, where he accused his parents of controlling his life and trying to sabotage his relationship with Nicola, Romeo and his brother Cruz posted a video of themselves laughing with their girlfriends, an action that was perceived as a jab at Brooklyn.
The tensions have also been reflected in the tattoos: Brooklyn erased the dedications to his parents and brothers, while Romeo got a tattoo with the word "family", showing his dedication to family ties. However, after Brooklyn's departure, the rest of the family was seen together at Cruz's 21st birthday party, where all the brothers, except Brooklyn and Nicola, were included, and the atmosphere remained lively and festive.
